A member of the Iraqi parliament oil and energy commission said a parliament delegation will make a visit to Kurdistan Region’s capital Erbil on Saturday.
Zaher al-Abadi told al-Maa’lomeh news agency that the delegation, from oil and energy commission will pay a visit to Erbil to discuss recent oil deal between the northern autonomous region and the central government in Baghdad.
Stating that the delegation will discuss, with Kurdish officials, the way to export oil from the region, Abadi said he was not aware of any new oil deal between Baghdad and Erbil.
It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi oil Minister Adel Abdulmahdi said Baghdad intends to ink a new oil deal with the Kurdish region.
